Urge Congress to Support Energy Efficiency!
Energy efficiency, the invisible hero. By doing more with less energy, or being more productive with the energy we use, the U.S. gets bigger gains out of every dollar we spend on energy. This could mean going further in our cars or reducing our energy bills. Energy efficiency remains our best way to addressing our economic, environmental, and national security issues.
Congress needs to be reminded of the positive impacts of being more energy productive. If we double energy productivity by 2030, we could:
* Cut average household energy costs by more than $1,000 a year;
* Add 1.3 million jobs; and
* Decrease energy imports by more than $100 billion a year.
We need you to pledge to become E Advocate and educate government officials on being energy productive!
