With affordable housing at an all time low, we know that there are no easy solutions to homelessness within the city of Santa Rosa and the County of Sonoma. We urge elected officials to be aggressive about creating permanent, affordable housing. Until these longer-term solutions are in place, we further urge officials to sanction camping and parking locations for those in need of housing. These locations would include providing basic human considerations of access to toilets, water and the opportunity to live in community.
