Tell states: Reject Trump & Republicans' vile idea to sacrifice seniors' lives to save the economy!

Republicans love to call themselves pro-life and say "all lives matter," but now they are singing a very different and truly horrific tune.

First Texas's Republican Lt. Governor Dan Patrick said that seniors should be "sacrificed" to prevent "economic collapse," then Fox News's Brit Hume echoed the idea, saying "if that's the exchange, I'm all in."

This inhumane suggestion is not occurring in a vacuum. It comes as President Trump has rejected the facts as presents by medical professionals and scientific experts, trying to force Americans back to work by Easter even if it means subjecting them to the coronavirus pandemic and causing literally hundreds of thousands of avoidable deaths.

We are well past the point of calling the actions of Trump and Republican un-American. This is simply inhuman, and it is critical that state governments reject the vile suggestion out of hand. Now is not the time to just accept — or even cause — mass deaths, now is the time fight back and save lives.
