President's Priorities
During a time of national crisis, President Bush is intent on seating John Roberts. Join us in telling Bush to get his priorities straight.
A mere week after Hurricane Katrina made landfall and laid waste to Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama, President Bush has once again shown the American people that his priorities are not those of the rest of us. While he should be concentrating on making right the errors the government has caused in those states devastated by the Hurricane, Bush is telling the American people that it is imparative that John Roberts be pushed through and seated on the Supreme Court in the late Chief Justice William Rehnquists position within the month.
For months the American people, and United States lawmakers have asked for more information about John Roberts. Today, those requests are still unanswered. It is time for Bush to stop hiding and answer to the American people.
Please join us today in demanding not only that the information we have requested on John Roberts be delivered, but that Bush get his priorities in order and stop trying to push Roberts nomination through while the rest of the country deals with the current tragedy on the Gulf Coast.
