Canada: Decriminalize Marijuana

The Liberals have committed to legalizing marijuana. But in the meantime, Canadians will continue to be charged for the possession of small amounts of marijuana for personal use.

Justin Trudeau himself admitted to smoking marijuana while he was a Member of Parliament – but others who do the same thing are winding up with criminal records. The unequal treatment of individuals when it comes to marijuana possession is just not fair.

Nobody should get a criminal record for simple possession of marijuana.
