Real Estate Tax Dollar Amount Decrease

I/We the residents of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Petition City Council to LOWER the existing real estate rate from $1.22 per $100.00 of assessed value to $1.04 per $100.00. State Law authorizes city council lowering the tax rate to offset the increased realestate assessments effective July 1, 2004. Thereby lessening taxes next year.
