Around 1/5 of every diagnosed case of HIV is due to unsafe needles practices. Almost all cases of Hepatitis C are also due to unsafe needle practices. And yet, due to the high street cost of needles, many people continue sharing dirty, infected needles that contribute to the spread of HIV. Demand that our state government provide free needle dispensary sights so we can keep these diseases from spreading into our communities and homes.
