KJ's Law ***Silver (amalgam) fillings are 49-54% MERCURY!

K. J.%u2019s LAW

Classification of mercury, %u201Camalgam, silver%u201D fillings to Class III and/or informed, written consent

Amalgams %u201Csilver fillings%u201D are 49-54% mercury.  In 1882, Eugene S. Talbot discovered that these fillings release mercury vapors into our lungs and blood stream.  Almost a century later, in 1984, the American Dental Association finally admitted that Talbot%u2019s findings were true.  Amalgams are delivered to dentists with a very detailed manufacture%u2019s warning that amalgams are a neurotoxin%u2026 Amalgams were grandfathered in and not tested by the FDA, ADA and manufacturers to ensure safety.

October 8, 2008, K. J. Phenezy, a very healthy 15 year old was mercury poisoned by his dentist from his %u201Csilver%u201D fillings.  Diagnosed with lupus, a kidney disorder and peripheral neuropathy, K.J. has spent literally months bedridden, in a wheel chair and in various hospitals nationwide.  Finally on May 16, 2008 K.J. was able to pull himself up to stand.  This was one day after beginning chelation therapy for the mercury poisoning.

K.J%u2019s Law would require that the FDA properly classify amalgams as a Class III.  This would require manufactures of amalgam to prove that the exposure to the mercury and its other toxic ingredients are safe to use as an implant in our mouths.

K.J.%u2019s Law would also require that dentists provide patients with the manufacturer%u2019s warning in order to get %u201Ctrue%u201D informed, written consent.  This law is needed to protect our children, elderly and all citizens of the United States of America.

To everyone concerned:

Above is a picture of my once very healthy 15 year old son.  Poisoned by the mercury in his "silver" (amalgam) fillings, we are currently on day 23 in the hospital.  That's day 23 for this hospital stay.

Short and simple.  The FDA is about finally about to classify fillings.  Those who understand the dangers of amalgams are pushing for Class III classification.  The dental lobbyists (the ones with the money) are pushing for Class II classification.

What's the difference?  Class III requires manufacturers to prove that amalgams are safe.  It's that simple.  They don't want to have to prove to Americans that it is safe.  The FDA has recently posted warnings on their website for pregnant women and children under 6.  Dentists aren't disclosing this information.  They also aren't disclosing the manufacturers warning.  K.J.'s law would also require this disclosure.

Please help me.  I am determined to make sure that another child does not have to suffer as my son is.  We need to act swiftly.  The FDA classifies in June or July of 2009.  Don't hesitate to contact me if you are interested in helping!

Sincerely,

Taajah Phenezy
Mom
