Support The Troops, Bring Them Home

Since the war in Iraq began, over 448 billion dollars have already been spent.  And in that time we have lost over 3,000 of our US Military men and women not to mention the countless thousands of Iraqi's.

Many of our politicians continue to support the war and funding regardless of the mounting death tolls.

Its time to tell them that the best way to support our troops is to end this
war and bring them home.

PLEASE NOTE:  It is NOT necessary for you to be a resident of Illinois to sign this petition.  Your signature will still provide a lot of impact!
We the undersigned are opposed to further occupation of Iraq, troop escalation, and further funding of this insane war.

At this time, over 48 billion dollars have been spent on the war in Iraq.  Much of this money was supposed to benefit our men and women of the Military who are serving there, but it has not.

You voted to continue the occupation of Iraq and to continue funding of this war.  Many believe that our troops have benefitted from this funding but they have not.  They are still desperately in need of better equipment, better body armor, and safer vehicles with which they can better protect themselves.  These men and women need these things.

We urge you to take a stand against this war and further funding which seems to have only benefitted the contractors at this point.

Our troops are counting on you.  These men and women are our future and it is our duty to protect our future.  We all believe in supporting our troops.

To date, the US has lost more then 3,000 men and women over this war.  It is time to truly support our troops and end this war and bring them home.  There has been enough death and violence.

Please take a stand and be a voice for peace.  Vote NO to further occupation of Iraq.

Thank you for your time.
