To the BIbb County Board of Education.
We ask that you vote to keep Barden elementary school open beyond 2013 - 2014 school year for the following reasons:
1. Barden public school has pride itself on excellence and education. Barden is a prime example of excellence. It has made AYP for the past 6 years.
2. The great diversity at Barden provides an enviroment where all students learn to appreciate the inidividual. The student learn alot from each other as well as the principle and staff.
3. The school size mean the students do not get" lost"as the staff knows virtually all the students. The staff is a special group of individuals who trully function as the good for the students.
4. Many parents CHOOSE Barden by requesting a permit into the school.
Barden Elementary is a strong neighborhood school with a tradition of celebrating diversity, celebrating the spirit of team work and celebrating innovative teaching stratergies for the most challenge of students. Barden Elementary school exemplifies the very excellence in education that Bibb county public schools are looking for.
