Help change the curfew of Pushcart Vendors from 11:00pm to 3:00am.

Currently, the City of Asheville City Ordinance Section 16 - 144 states that all Pushcart Vendors must cease daily operation at 11:00pm. For myself, as well as many, this is the sole source of income. Ending operations at 11:00pm drastically limits earning potential.

I am requesting that the City extends the same opportunity as the Mobile Food Units and extend our curfew to 3:00am.

Pushcart Vendors are an integral part of the downtown business community. We not only serve great products, we offer visitors information and directions in the downtown area. We recommend additional restaurants, retail establishments and bars. We also serve as an additional eyes and ears for local business owners and the Police Department.
