Revoke Junipero Serra's Canonization.

Whereas Friar Junipero Serra y Ferrer was a Roman Catholic priest who found no less than ten Spanish missions in California in the nineteenth century,

and whereas he was beatified on September 25, 1988 by Pope John Paul II, and canonized as a saint by Pope Francis I on September 23, 2015,

and whereas Native Americans continue to complain that Friar Serra presided over the brutal enslavement and violent physical abuse of the Native Californians in his missions;

Therefore, we the undersigned hereby request that His Holiness the Pope revoke Serra's canonization and beatification on account of his brutal and ungodly treatment of the Native Californians in his care.
