Stop Universal Credits from using Student Finance as Income

Working /Child tax credits don't take student finance into account when calculating your entitlement to benefits so why do Universal Credits? As far as I am concerned student finance is a loan and is repayable when we qualify and start employment, benefits are not repayable so why do I not get the same as others who claim Universal Credits? It is unfair and we need to take a stand for equality as far as benefits are concerned.
