The Biden administration has signaled to the nation that student loan repayments will be resuming soon as the emergency coronavirus pandemic measures are rolled back across the board.
"...we're preparing to restart repayment because the emergency period is over, and we're preparing our borrowers to restart," said Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona to the Senate Appropriations Committee.
Tell the White House to extend the student loan pause indefinitely!
While the Supreme Court considers whether or not to block the Biden admin's student loan forgiveness program, it makes no sense to throw borrowers back into the fray. Seeing as the Biden team has extended the student loan moratorium for years already, they surely can continue to do so indefinitely!
On the campaign trail, the President promised to cancel at least $10,000 worth of student debt from every borrower. It's time to hold him to that promise.
