Stop the Slaughter, List Bison as Endangered
This year over a thousand bison have been slaughtered.
The reason for this is bison carry a disease called brucellosis. In theory, it can be transmitted to livestock and cause it to abort their first calf that season.
This is good for bison because it is population control, but not so good for farmers
The result: thousands of buffalo are slaughtered. Most of the bison slaughtered this year were calves or males witch cannot transmit the disease. There is no recorded transmitting of the disease from buffalo to livestock
This has to stop NOW.
This petition is to list bison as an endangered species so the slaughtering of them is illegal.
