Do you ever check the label for "product not tested on animals"? Most don't, and not because they are cruel, but becuase it's not a common thought when shopping. Animals have no voice to object to testing, but who says they should remain voiceless? They are still creatures who can love, hate and feel pain as we do. Why do we subject them to testing?
Each year 5 million dogs, cats, rabbits and other animals
die in the US from complictions when being tested on.
Substances are:
forced into animals throats, pumped into their stomachs, forcively inhaled through gas masks and applied to sensitive areas.
Animals may bleed from the eyes, nose or mouth, have convulsions and studies show that
50% percent of these animals will die within 2 to 3 weeks of being tested on.
There are other ways to test products. We don't have to subject other creatures to this.
