Let's help Mark Da Costa pursue his dream!

This petition was started as a way to show our appreciation and support for Mark Da Costa from Australian Idol 2007. He was the most entertaining and passionate performer we have seen on Idol in years, and he left the show way to early because we all became to complacent, lets help him get signed.

Hi Guys
As you all may or may not know, I am a huge fan of Mark Da Costa. His dream is to get a contact and make a living out of his music, I would love to see him achieve that goal.
I must say in all the years I have watched Australian Idol I can't remember a contestant who got up on stage and gave 110% week in and week out.
I found all his performances passionate, honest and confident as I'm sure
many others did, I was devastated when he left.
Unfortunately every year, we have a shock eviction because we are all so sure our favorite will get through we don't think we need to vote. The year before last it was Ricki Lee Coulter and this year it was Mark :(
I don't know what it takes to get a contract or what Mark needs to do to obtain one but I thought perhaps if we get a 1000 fans to sign a petition and give it to Mark to put it in his port folio it could only be a positive.
I would love for you all to sign it, you never know, it may just help.
