"I want to be perfectly clear about this next comment so that there is no mistaking my words to mean something other than what they plainly say: the time has come to end white male oppression by castrating every white male until they are no longer dominant in Western culture. That means forcible removal of their testicles. I realize the brutality of my comment, and I don't know how to say it more clearly."
Amazingly, both President Obama and Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said that Sotomayor's infamous quote was ".....taken out of context".
Sotomayor herself prefaced her comment, saying that she wanted to be "....perfectly clear, so that there was no mistaking (her) words".
How could ANY rational person claim that Sotomayor's hate, bigotry, and violence were "...taken out of context"? President Obama's and Secretary Gibbs' comments are clearly entirely lacking in credibility.
How would it have been received if a man who aspired to the Supreme Court was quoted as saying, "All American women should have their breasts removed, until the culture of female moral domination of American society ends"? Such a man would, of course, be rejected out of hand.
Sotomayor deserves the same treatment. She has demonstrated that she is entirely unqualifed to hold ANY public office. She should be summarily dismissed from her present position, and dismissed out of hand for a seat on the Supreme Court.

Judge Sotomayor's comments are as stupid as they are hateful and violent: white men account for 75% of American suicides; and are also included in many other disadvantaged populations: the homeless, the alcoholics, and the drug-addicted.
Thank you for your consideration of this letter. We call upon you to restore sanity and decency to those who hold ranking positions in American society; those who hold such hateful and bigoted stances (like Judge Sotomayor) should be summarily dismissed from their positions.
Sincerely,
