Save Cancer Screenings

We, the undersigned, are extremely concerned about the latest trend in recommending "less" screenings for cancer, a prevalent disease for which there currently exists no cure.

We are concerned especially because once an "official" recommendation of "fewer" medical procedures is made - major medical and insurance companies will use this as a guideline for further reducing benefits for (and often no longer covering) early screenings. 

We believe that our society needs to encourage and support early cancer screenings for all who wish to receive them.  We would like to see MORE not less coverage and support from the medical community to continue in the fight to detect, treat and prevent cancer at the EARLY stages - always the best time to do such things.

We would like to see more research into finding a CURE and less research into reducing screenings.

We ask that physicians, researchers, and other medical professionals continue to support aggressive cancer screenings to save lives!
