SENATOR TOM CARPER MUST GO!
Delaware's Senator Tom Carper claims to be a Democrat. Senator Carper is not a democrat, nor does he believe in the goals of the Democratic Party. Even though Senator Carper comes from a "blue state", he has voted against his constituents, ignores the citizens pleas for the Public Option. Senator Carper has received millions of dollars from insurance companies, big pharma, credit card and banking institutions. He refused to hold Town Meetings, hides from the citizens by going on talk radio and taking no calls. Its time the Democratic Party of Delaware, the Labor Unions and our citizens send Tom Carper back to private life. We the undersigned, no longer believe Senator Tom Carper is working for the Citizens of Delaware. Delaware a very blue state, supported President Obama overwhelmingly. Senator Tom Carper is a "blue dog" democrat, who has refused to sign on to the Public Option. While thousands of people are out of work in Delaware, our Health and Social Services, Medicaid are overwhelmed by new people signing up, Senator Carper has ignored our pleas to support a Public Option. Senator Carper is the author of states "opt in/opt out". We know that Delaware under the leadership of Senator Carper will be the "First State" to opt out. We have a "single payer bill" in our Delaware Legislature SB 120, and Senator Carper has been instrumental in keeping this bill from being "scored" by our Senate Finance Committee. Its time Labor unions, the democratic party, progressives, liberals and moderates vote out Senator Carper and find a Candidate who will support our citizens issues and demands.
