TEARS is an animal rescue that's close to where I live. I have personally been there & met the people who run it & I met alot of the animals there. All of these animals were rescued either from an abuser or from a situation they got into somehow such as getting stuck in a drainpipe for example. They've all got a story to tell if they could.
They help all kinds of animals, not just "pets" such as cats & dogs & they operate 24/7/365. They care for around 200 animals. Donations are practically non existent & they are really struggling to get by.
