SAVE THE WILD HORSES

Hello everyone, my name is Emmy Richardson, and I am starting a petition to prevent total wild horse liquidation. The B.L.M. is planning to rid of all wild horses completely.
There are a few wrong things about this:
First: wild horses are a symbol of America, something that shows us what we stand for.
Second: When the B.L.M. holds auctions, especially at this time, most horses are not adopted and are sent to slaughter. Recently, a round up near where I live, captured roughly three hundred horses, and only sold fifteen. The rest were sent to die.
Now, I do believe that the wild horse population should be kept low, so there is enough feed for all of them. And so there are not so many ruining farmer's lands. It was to be, before they made this decision, that they were just keeping them low. But now they have lost their minds.
There is a specific herd, in Colorado, that they are also ridding of. Most of you horse enthusiasts have heard of Cloud, the stunning wild palomino stallion, well, they are going to round him up, along with all the other bands in his area. Ginger Kathrens made a couple documentaries on Cloud, showing the people of the US how important and amazing wild horses are. Ginger and her crew, even thousands of children in our country, are trying to stop it. Now, because the B.L.M. wants to strip the deserts and mountain meadows of them, no longer will people be able to witness how these gorgeous animals live.

Note: I have recently found out something that, I do not believe to be true, doesn't really change my opinion on clearing out all the wild horses. One of the head of the B.L.M sent me an email telling me that they do not slaughter the mustangs. I do not believe this because I KNOW it to be other wise. I was able to get first hand information of this happening.
