STOP PUPPY MILLS IL
The poor treatment and abysmal conditions of dogs in IL puppymills has been well documented. We need legislation to improve and regulate commercial kennels. We would ask of the Governor and Illinois Legislature to improve and regulate commercial kennels. We would require:
doubling the cage space
veterinarian visits at least once per year and with each pregnancy
access to outdoor exercise
and many more provisions for the health and well being of dogs.
The undersigned urge the Governor of Illinois and the IL Legislature to actively pursue legislation to license, Inspect, and set standards of humane care for pet animals bred and or sold in IL.
