In the past month, the homes of five different Democratic officials in New Mexico have been shot at by unknown assailants. Thankfully, nobody has been injured, but the police are investigating to see if the attacks are connected — and given the hysterical level of inciting rhetoric being pumped out by the right-wing media machine, it seems very likely that these attacks are politically motivated.
Bernalillo County Commissioner Adriann Barboa, Bernalillo Commissioner Debbie O'Malley, New Mexico Attorney General Raul Torrez, state Sen. Linda Lopez, and state Sen. Moe Maestas have all had their homes or offices shot at, some up to a dozen times.
Tell the Biden team to get to the bottom of these attacks against Democrats!
"It is traumatizing to have several bullets shot directly through my front door when my family and I were getting ready to celebrate Christmas…"No one deserves threatening and dangerous attacks like this" said a worried Barboa in a statement.
As the threats against public officials by right-wing provocateurs continue to rise, it is imperative that the government take decisive action to find and punish those responsible for attempting to intimidate our public officials.
Demand the DOJ investigate and prosecute the terrorists who shot up the homes of Democrats!
