Feed the hungry in Augusta

There are so many people who go hungry in Georgia's third ( or second depending on which consensus you use) biggest city and this is unacceptable. There is a simple solution to this problem. Every single night fast food and normal restaurants throw out perfectly good food that they could not make a profit from. A simple survey of these establishments could find out just how much food is wasted per restaurant and those same statistics could be used to feed out hungry men, women, and children, who otherwise would go hungry that night. This is a community effort and will take positions of powers to take place and run effectively and efficiently. We could have our poverished sign up at anonymous locations for their privacy and pride. Make them a special identification tag or card for at least one meal a day at a certain time of that day. This is totally possible and would cost close to nothing for these business owners. The benefits are endless and we can help so many people through hard times because a happy community is a healthy community. Let's make this happen!!!
