ATA's 2020 Seniors: Our Last Goodbye

Sadly, the Class of 2020 has not been able to have proper closure due to the global pandemic, COVID-19. This event has prevented us from having milestones and memories that most do.

In order to make up for these losses, we propose that the Academy for Technology and Academics' Seniors of 2020 get to have one last goodbye. We deserve one last day to walk the halls of a place we called home and to say goodbye to the mentors who aided in our successes and the friends we made along the way.

We are asking that our 2020 seniors and other supporters sign this petition, so that we can propose the idea of "Our Last Goodbye" to the people that can make it happen once the threat of COVID-19 has passed.

The plan is to be able to have a brunch picnic on the school grounds, to then have an awards ceremony/college and military signing, and then to be able to talk to our friends and mentors whilst signing our yearbooks. The last event of the day would be to walk the entireity of ATA's halls for the final time. This is the closure we need. This is "Our Last Goodbye."

This not a promise that our goal will be reached, but we have it in us to try.
