Improve our children's Education- End No Child Left Behind

No Child Left Behind has turned America's classrooms into non-stop testing labs with our children as the guinea pigs.
Children are losing recess, specials such as art, music, and gym to accommodate the time spent to teach what will be on the state standardized test.
Before No Child Left Behind, children were receiving a well-rounded education.
Today, they are being taught only what's on the state standardized test.
To improve our children's education, we need to end the tyranny of No Child Left Behind.
We, the undersigned, believe that the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 has reduced our children's education to nothing more that learning how to take a standardized test rather than providing them with a well-rounded education.

Our children are being taught only what is on their state's standardized test rather than learning critical, creative, and analytical thinking skills.
Children are losing crucial recess and specials time to accommodate the extended time spent on those subjects covered by their state's standardized state.

We would like to return our children's education back to those who know our children best- their teachers.

We ask that you work on ending the tyranny of No Child Left Behind and let our children receive a well-rounded education appropriate for them.

Thank you for reading this letter and taking our request into consideration.
