Blakesley- Protect Our Village Facilities

Protect the Blakesley playground, tennis courts and village hall from proposed new village confines before it's too late. The changes being proposed to the village boundaries are to include the tennis courts, play area, and village hall, which will inevitably precede future building on these facilities -facilities that are a vital, well-loved part of the culture of the village. Indeed, the newly built and improved areas were recognised by the committee that recently awarded Blakesley the title: Best Small Village in Northamptonshire, commenting on the magnificent views and position of such facilities. Furthermore, these integral locations are used daily by local residents as well as Blakesley Primary School and Blakesley Pre-School. I would very strongly endorse the premise of this petition in that these areas must be protected and the confinement lines not changed.
