CONGRESS AND INSIDER TRADING

Did you know that insider trading was only illegal for you and me and not members of Congress? While you may go to prison for insider trading members of Congress will not. Only after Speaker Nancy Pelosi was confronted with her own scandal of insider trading did she fast track an Ethics bill to prevent government officials from gaining special access to initial public stock offerings. I thought that these representatives of the American people were suppose to be ETHICAL in the first place! It is the arrogance of these elected officials that is shameful and a slap in the face of every American. We pay these members of Congress $174,000 a year to be ETHICAL-HONEST and do our bidding. ONE SET OF LAWS FOR ALL AMERICANS NOT ONE SET FOR US AN ANOTHER FOR MEMBERS OF CONGRESS. MAKE CONGRESS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS PAST AND PRESENT!
