Keep our School in our Community and out of Bayers Lake!

HRM is considering whether to release the wooded area behind Park West School to the province for construction of a new school. This school was promised to the Fairview/Clayton Park community in 2018. The only other available option is Bayers Lake, which will require the bussing of hundreds of students every day. You may have received information that other sites are available. All other potential sites were canvassed in both 2019 and 2022. None are available, including Seton Ridge. This is why we have waited four years for a school site, when Bedford is receiving their new school in September. Please sign the petition to keep our kids in our community! If this transfer fails to materialize, the new school will be built in Bayers Lake.
