Fellow Nemechek Protocol Parents-
In the Nemechek Protocol Facebook group, we have discussed the advantage of appealing to the scientific community for the initiation of clinical studies on the efficacy of Nemechek Protocol in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and other various developmental disorders. To our knowledge, there are no existing petitions, and no one is lobbying for this cause.
Some parents may wonder why research matters. Simply put the goal of research is to eliminate biases, compile data, and disseminate effective treatment options to families affected by neurodevelopmental disorders and to ultimately positively impact the outcomes for our children. If the Nemechek Protocol is a scientific breakthrough, health care providers should be aware of this so they can recommend initiating it to newly diagnosed or high-risk children as part of the early intervention program.
Most of the autism research currently focuses on behavioral, educational and pharmacological interventions, and NOT on treating the underlying pathophysiology. It has been argued that there is no money to be made with researching the Nemecheck Protocol; however there are groups such as Autism Speaks and the National Institute of Health that have funded research projects that similarly have no financial incentive or bias.
Therefore, please consider signing the petition letter to unite our voice about the success and gains of our children on the Nemechek Protocol. We hope that this petition will seize the attention of the researchers in the Autism, ADHD and neurodevelopmental disorder community and raise public awareness.
