Huey Emmerich, an extremely pivotal character in the Metal Gear Solid series, goes without representation in Play Arts Kai's extremely extensive line of heavily detailed figures. Whether you love him or hate him, it's difficult to deny his influence on the series, and it's hard to forget the role he played in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. With this in mind it feels only fair that he be available as a figure for collectors and fans alike.
Characters like The Man On Fire, Skullface, and The Third Child have received representation by Play Arts Kai in this form, however Huey is forgotten, despite his very dynamic role. Personally when Skullface was no longer actively affecting the storyline I had forgotten about him, as well as The Man On Fire, but Huey's presence lingers even after you've condemmed him to the heartless sea.
The aforementioned characters don't appear to have a very large following and perhaps their figures exist for the sake of completeness. So why has Huey been forgone? Venom Snake has three separate figrues produced by this company, and Huey nary a single mention. There is no merchandise featuring Huey, his fans have nothing tangible to represent their adoration.
Given his extremely unique character design I feel that he would make for a very attractive figure. His mechanical exoskeleton not only gives him a very distinct appearance in-game, but would translate beautifully into a one-of-a-kind figurine.
Please, Play Arts Kai, hear his fans' pleas and make him into a figure!
