Boycott all products of Mukuru.com

We the Zimbabwean nationals in South Africa and across the African continent, want to collectively raise our voice against the arrogance and incompetence of some of the Mukuru workers at the customer care center department. There's a huge number of Mukuru customers who are complaining about the poor service they received, and maybe the poor service they could still be receiving, after they have lodged their concerns with the Mukuru stuff, over the disappearance of their hard-earned cash from their Mukuru bank accounts.

On the 25th of November, 2020, at exactly 23:45hrs, cash was stolen from Mukuru customer's card and the name of the customer is, Brian Mupamombe and Mukuru Case/ticket number on this issue is 2574443. The customer reported the incident to Mukuru early morning of November 26th 2020 when he saw a notification that cash was withdrawn from his account while he was asleep the previous night and Mukuru promised to do an investigation which they said the results will be ready within 90 days and no action was taken by Mukuru. Since the beginning of this year 2021 we have been trying to mount pressure on the Mukuru management so that they could investigate what happened to Brian's cash, but, to our surprise, all efforts were in vain. Brian is just one of hundreds, if not thousands of Mukuru customers whose hard earned cash disappeared from Mukuru cards and without any action taken by Mukuru to make sure that their customers get their cash back or at least know what really happened to their cash. This has to be put to an end and without any failure.

We have strong reasons to believe that Mukuru does not care about the well-being of their clients, but only care about their money. We have strong reasons to believe that Mukuru stuff is involved in the disappearing of cash from Mukuru client's cards and the top management is aware of this.

Shouldn't Mukuru be a melting pot, where anyone, poor or rich, as long as they have sources of income and required documents to open a bank account, could have their savings looked after without the fear of losing their hard earned money, just like in any other bank?

In this petition, we ask Zimbabwean Mukuru customers in South Africa in particular and Africa in general to immediately boycott all Mukuru products until they assist Zimbabweans whose hard earned money disappeared from Mukuru accounts.
Please stop sending money via Mukuru!
Please stop depositing money in Mukuru bank accounts!
Please stop purchasing with Mukuru cards!
Please boycott all Mukuru products!
