Dairy is known by vegans to be one of, if not the, cruellest industry on the planet. Calves are ripped away from their mothers at only a day old, or a few days old, boy calves are bolt gunned in the head or sent for the often cruel veal industry, cows are sent to slaughter when "worn out", cows cry out in distress their calves are STOLEN, goats, buffalo, sheep and even horses are exploited for their milk as well.
There are around half a million vegans in the UK, with more and more people going vegan and/or considering vegan. Every year, thousands of people sign up to Veganuary, going vegan for the whole month of January.
Dairy is very, very cruel. That is why I am kindly asking the biggest dairy companies in the UK to start making vegan alternatives to dairy!
The farmers wouldn't have to be out of work if everyone went vegan - they could switch to farming plants!
Please, please take heed of the growing vegan and animal rights movement - please start doing vegan alternatives to cheese, yogurt, ice cream, milk and other dairy products!
