Australian Live Export to the Middle East in 2006

PETA and Animals Australia's January 2006 investigation in the Middle East and North Africa revealed that live sheep exported from Australia are subjected to transport, handling, and slaughter practices that are both cruel and illegal by Australian, European, and American standards.
