I am an animal lover and i am sickened by all the stories of animal abuse all over the world. All for the almighty dollar. The latest has gotten me to the point of no return. I have to at least try to make a difference. An article about the Scottish wildlife photographer Norman Watson traveled to Bandhavgarh in India one of India's most popular national parks known for its tigers. He was horrified to see elephants, these gentle giants being whipped by 5 ft bamboo canes beating them till they are screaming in agony. He also spotted emaciated baby elephants chained to trees and in cages. The elephants in so much distress they were weeing themselves. Forcing them to be a ride for up to six people. They saw babies chained to their mothers. Another two smaller elephants were chained so close together they were trying to get away from being beaten they could only hop. Rolling onto their sides was mercilessly beaten for 10min and only stopped because he was exhausted The irony that the guides abusing the elephants were responsible for leading the photographers to photograph the tigers to help preserve them. They should be banned from having any kind of animals. Certainly not elephants. Norman watson said he will not return till things change. I see that they get over 108,000 visitors. All visitors should know about this abuse. People need to stop going till things are changed
