Demand healthier and more diverse food options at SUNY Orange!

Did you know 41% of SUNY Orange students are food insecure? The most common and effective way to combat this issue is to utilize a campus cafeteria to give students a way to eat regardless of their financial situations. SUNY Orange is at an incredible disadvantage without this resource, so we're gathering support to present to the college administration along with an action plan of ways we can further reduce food insecurity in the future.

The call is being made for SUNY Orange to offer healthy, diverse, and affordable food options on campus. It is not acceptable for a college campus to have no system in place to guarantee that every student who is food insecure can be fed.

If you're dissatisfied with the food options available on our campus, let your voice be heard! This petition will be directly delivered to SUNY Orange administration.

This petition is not meant as a means to bash or discourage students from using food options available on campus, rather it is a call to further expand food choices.
