Stopping police brutality at Orange Beach Police Department in Orange Beach AL

If we don't do anything about this problem, others that end up in jail in Orange Beach, also end up dead because they're hanging inmates. Who's next?

I have a story that needs to be told! I have a best friend and boss, a 62 year old man that suffers from 3 forms of Lou Gehrig's disease. He is the longest survivor of it and is now used as a reference and study guide for doctors worldwide. He is considered by those doctor's to be the utmost expert in this area! His wife left him because of his diseases and ruined him financially. He's stayed ahead of his invisible diseases because he works out and don't let it get the best of him. Later, about 6 years ago, or so, she caused him problems and when he went into the Orange Beach Police Dept. in Orange Beach, Alabama he had a semi-seizure from the stress she was causing. Then, in 2012, she started her stress up again because she wanted him to take her back and he said no. She made up a bogus story and went to the police. She told them how to man-handle him and also that he was a very dangerous man. With help from a female friend of the ex-wife, he was going in to talk to the Chief of Orange Beach for the second time when the officers jumped him for no reason at all. They arrested him, put him in rusty shackles, injured one arm, reinjured his knee and detached a tendon in his right wrist while torturing him during the arrest process. I was there as his driver and caretaker because he was sick from the stress his ex-wife, Lori Ann Minor, was putting on him. His best friend had to speed 38 miles, through rush hour, to give the jail a bail of $1,000 to get John out so he didn't have to stay in jail the weekend! They only gave his friend 20 minutes to get there from a ways away. If Mr. Minor’s friend didn’t make it, Mr. Minor would have spent the weekend in jail and since he needs his meds every day, he would have died in jail and the cops there didn’t care about it! When Mr. Minor finally went to court over this, the ex-wife was there and the Judge let her have it. Judge said this is BS and do not put this in front of him again, to the ex-wife. To Mr. Minor, he said, you are free to go and that he was sorry for wasting his time. One of the female officers ran up to the judge and said, “What about Mr. Minor saying he was going to get my job?” Judge just told her to leave. The video that would prove how cruel the torture was just disappeared about a week after Mr. Minor was there! And even though the Mayor used to be Mr. Minor's physical therapist, he said he knows about Mr. Minor's injuries and is truly sorry he had to go through that, but added he wouldn't go against his "people!" Now that's messed up! How many other people that are less fortunate have had run-ins with these so called officers? The Chief, a supposed friend of Mr. Minor’s let the torture happen. I’ve heard of other instances of the torture and cruelty there at Orange Beach. I’ve also heard of the hangings that have gone down, behind closed doors. These are the men and women that are supposed to protect us, how safe is it really in Orange Beach. It doesn’t sound very safe anymore. They have set Mr. Minor back at least 10 years, and his 3 forms of Lou Gehrig’s diseases are so bad, this can cause him to lose his limbs over it. That’s what they do. They are invisible, until they rupture the skin by breaking through, making elephantitis enlargements of your limbs, and even making you lose a limb. I thought you were innocent until you were found guilty!!!! Sounds like you’re guilty and you’ll never be found innocent if you are pulled over in Orange Beach. I just wanted to pass this on to you! Something should be done with these corrupt officers! They are as bad as the CIA! Thank you for your time and understanding.
