Tell Special Counsel Jack Smith to charge Trump for his crimes as soon as possible

After carefully weighing the evidence, a bipartisan Congressional committee recommended that Donald Trump be charged with multiple crimes.

And Special Counsel Jack Smith should follow that recommendation.

Yes, Smith needs to do his own investigation and make his own decision. But the evidence is out there in plain sight, and it is overwhelming. Trump needs to pay for his crimes.  And with Trump and his allies an ongoing threat to our democracy, we don't have the luxury to wait forever for action.
