We Want Justice for Sam, Tonks, and All the Animals Neglected by This Pet Hotel

Cases of animal abuse and neglect are always shocking. But it's especially appalling to see people profit off of it. Waggies Pet Hotel, located in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, has finally been closed after authorities found poor conditions months ago. Despite a judge's order to close the awful hotel, which kept dogs in dangerous conditions, the owner continued to operate the business for three more weeks.

Why in the world was this business allowed to stay open for three weeks after a judge told the owner to close it?

When owners started picking up their pets from the hotel earlier this year, it was clear something was wrong. Sam, a sweet golden retriever, returned home with a matted coat, gummy eyes, an intense thirst, and unusual weight loss. When you take your dog to a pet hotel business like this one, you expect them to be safe, not sick.

Upon inspection of this sham business, it became clear that things could have gone even worse for dogs like Sam. Bags of feces were laying around the building, and the kennels were completely dark. The dogs didn't even have access to any water. They did, however, have access to dangerous hazardous chemicals and bare nails -- a clear indicator of neglect.

The fact that this pet hotel stayed open for weeks after a judge ordered it to close should alarm all of us. Lisburn authorities must investigate the Waggies Pet Hotel so that all pets and owners can receive justice! Sign the petition now if you agree!
