Stop the display of SI Swimsuit edition!

I would be surprised if you hadn't noticed this year's edition of Sport's Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.  The almost naked breasts of the model on the cover is hard to miss.  Every time I walk into my fave coffee stop, I feel like it hits me in the face.  I wouldn't mind if it was behind the counter, better yet if it was somewhat covered up.  But they put it directly in your line of sight when you walk in the door!

It's bad enough that adults are assulted with these overtly sexual images, but kids need to be protected from this kind of immodesty.  The human body is beautiful and there is nothing wrong with sex  (within a marriage, that is.)  But there is a reason they are censored from mainstream media, they are not appropriate for children's consumption.  These things should be taught (and I do mean taught,) at home within the safe environment of the family.

We need to stand up to those who use the kinds of sexually explicit images to make a buck.  Let's tell them we aren't interested in supporting this kind of irresponsibility!!

Dear Circle K,

As a regular custormer, I'm offended that I can't walk into your store without seeing the inappropriate image on display on the front of the Sport's Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.  I would like to see you move it behind the counter and maybe cover it up so we didn't have to see it if we don't want to.  I believe most parents would appreciate your consideration for their kids as well.

If you think you need sexual images to attract customers, then I will be forced to shop elsewhere as there is plenty of competition for my business.  I hope that you value my patronage enough to respect my wishes!!

Sincerely,

Michelle L. Rowe
