Don't Charge Folks To View Historic Lombard Street!

As a San Fransisco resident, I love taking visitors to Lombard Street.

It's an iconic San Francisco landmark with steep hills, colorful buildings, and a legendary winding road. That's why I was dismayed to learn that there is an effort to lock the space down and charge folks a new toll to visit.

Will you sign my petition to ask California legislators not to pass this unnecessary and classist bill?

The street is so fun! it winds back and forth and exists on a typical San Fransisco hill. It's meant to be enjoyed by everyone – not just people who pay a fee!

The biggest reason for this bill is likely that the very wealthy folks who bought houses on this famous street don't like the "riff-raff" coming to visit. So they obviously should not have moved there, it's not secret that this a favorite public tourist spot!

I just don't see why rich people can complain and force everyone else to pay to see a public street. San Francisco is already super expensive, the last thing we need is more things to pay for when you're just trying to enjoy the city.

Please sign on make your voice heard: no tolls for Lombard Street in San Francisco!
