Help me keep my SERVICE DOG IN TRAINING with me on campus

Since day one, my college staff and faculty have been making false claims about myself and my Service Dog in Training (SDiT), Joy.

  • I was told she shouldn't have permission to live with me even though she has legal documentation stating she is allowed to live with me regardless of the pet policies in that area.
  • My mother was told I was bringing my SDiT into forbidden areas and that she raised me wrong (even though I always make the Dean's List, have three jobs, and do mission work building houses during the summer).
  • They also threatened to get the police involved, accusing me of "faking a service dog."

Now I have been told Joy has three days to leave campus and I have lost my job as a Resident Assistant because there are claims about Joy being "aggressive."

The claim of aggression is an absolute lie, as the person who she was reportedly showing aggressive behavior towards has denied the original story - which was reported by a different individual. This report has also changed multiple times, claiming it happened in different locations on different days. Clearly the claims going around are not accurate.

Please sign and share my petition to keep my SERVICE DOG IN TRAINING with me on campus to continue to assist me in my every day life.

And please follow Joy on instagram to see how much of an angel she truly is! @joy_and_alex
