What the hell is it with this administration and wasting money on private jets?
Kristi Noem, homeland security secretary and America's proudest dog killer, tried to sneak $50 million into the DHS budget for a private plane. Even though DHS already has one for her.
"I was horrified last Friday when we received a last minute addition to your spend plan for fiscal '25, a new $50 million Gulfstream 5 for Secretary Noem's personal travel coming from the Coast Guard budget. She already has a Gulfstream 5, by the way, this is a new one," rep Lauren underwood told Noem in a hearing.
Unless she's planning on cloning herself, Noem should be just fine with the private jet she already has. And we don't need to waste money on something utterly unnecessary.
Add your name, and tell Congress to reject Noem's outrageous request.
