Air France (Caribbean-Lafayette)

Louisiana has wanted for decades a route between Louisiana and Paris, particularly MSY-CDG. However, there is another idea that I propose, which is Air France from Lafayette to the Air France hub in the Caribbean.

Lafayette Regional Airport is currently...a Regional Airport, but with this unique route we can make LFT an international airport with a interesting hub.

Once you land either in Pointe-À-Pitre or Martinique, you can either connect to Paris CDG or fly to the other islands that Air France has on it's network.

They use Airbus A320s, which got updated recently to feature sharklets, or shark winglets on their aircraft, which increases range and efficiency. As we have seen with Frontier, A320s are capable of flying to and from Lafayette. The new terminal with some immigration checks is capable of handling such flights. This is definitely worth trying out.

This will not just help Lafayette, but will finally
