In order to win enough votes for Speaker, Kevin McCarthy made a whole host of concessions to right-wing extremists, agreeing to change House rules to essentially hand over control to the lunatic fringe of the party.
But the battle isn't over yet. The House must vote on these changes — and two "moderate" Republicans have already indicated they may vote against it, and others are considering doing the same. If we can get just 3 more, we can win this.
