Tell Republicans to stop playing politics with our healthcare

On December 15, the 2018 enrollment period for Obamacare ends. But Donald Trump and the Republicans don't want you to know that.

They've done everything they can this year to keep people from signing up for Obamacare — they shortened the enrollment period to only six weeks, cut the advertising budget by 90%, and even decreased funding for organizations that help people get covered.

Between undermining enrollment and their repeated attempts to repeal the Affordable Care Act, Republicans in Washington have made it clear that providing Americans with quality and affordable healthcare is not important to them.

Here in Illinois, Bruce Rauner has remained silent in the face of seemingly endless attacks on our healthcare.

It is wrong to play politics with peoples' lives, and as governor, I will make Illinois a state where everyone has quality healthcare. That's why I released my plan for healthcare, IllinoisCares. My plan is a public option that will allow all Illinoisans to purchase quality and affordable health insurance.

It's time our elected officials understand healthcare is a right, not a privilege.

Add your name today to tell Bruce Rauner to stand up for high quality healthcare in Illinois!
