Tell Your State Legislators: Approve the Massachusetts End of Life Options Act

The Massachusetts legislature is considering S.1208/H.1926, the End of Life Options Act.

The bill would allow qualified, terminally ill adult state residents to obtain a prescription from their physician for medications to end their life peacefully, in a dignified way, at the place and time of their choosing. The bill would establish stringent procedures and tough safeguards that have been proven safe and effective in providing peace of mind and control for the terminally ill.

Seven in ten Massachusetts residents believe terminally ill people should have this option. In several other states, including Oregon and Vermont, similar laws have safely and effectively given terminally ill people more freedom, control, and peace of mind at the end of life.

Take action today: Urge your Massachusetts state legislators to approve S.1208/H.1926, the End of Life Options Act.
