Ban Assault Weapons and High-Capacity Magazines

In the past few weeks, our nation has been rocked by mass shootings from Las Vegas to Texas to California. While we experience a new mass shooting roughly everyday, Congress sits idly by and offers thoughts and prayers instead of policy that could help put an end to this madness.

Will you join us in calling on Congress to take meaningful steps to put a stop to this epidemic of gun violence?

The deadliest of these shootings share a common element, semi-automatic assault rifles and high capacity magazines. These dangerous weapons were banned until 2004 when Congress failed to reauthorize the ban.
