Save the Southern Corroboree Frog from extinction!

The little Southern Corroboree Frog only lives high in the mountains of New South Wales's Kosciuszko National Park. It is one of Australia's most iconic and threatened vertebrates.

Right now, climate change is one of the greatest threats facing the colorful frogs. Rising temperatures and a decline in precipitation are causing their breeding ponds to dry up resulting in the death of eggs and tadpoles.

Time is running out for the Southern Corroboree Frog. As the climate changes and droughts become  longer and more frequent, they will no longer be able to recover.

Today, our air, water, land, and wildlife are facing near constant threats and our laws aren't strong enough to protect them. This cannot go on.

Our elected representatives must create a new framework of national laws to safeguard our environment, not allow it to be destroyed.

This new framework of laws must:
  • Make the federal government responsible for protecting the air we breathe, our wildlife, our climate and the places we love.
  • Establish an independent commission to set environmental standards.
  • Create an independent national Environmental Protection Authority to make sure governments and businesses do the right thing by nature.
  • Guarantee communities the right to have a say in environmental decisions

Ask Prime Minister Turnbull and Opposition Leader Bill Shorten to create stronger laws for air, water and wildlife.
